Splash’n’Play Water Park – South Ripley

August 15, 2016 0 Comments

Splash’n’Play Water Park South Ripley was on our hit list for FREE interactive water parks for Kids during the hotest day we had encountered so far in the bus.

With temps soaring past 37 degrees, we packed up our towels, hats and sunscreen and off we went to check out Ipswich’s latest free interactive water park for families.

What a hit it was, much quieter than its neighbour “Robelle Domain” we had the water park literally to ourselves. How could this be on such a hot summers day? Maybe the word is not yet out. Well it is now.

As describe via the Providence Ripley Website

Features include:

Water play for toddlers

Gentle Wiggly Fountains
Squirts and Spurts
Streams and Puddles

High octane water play for older kids

Aqua Arch
Spiral Sprayer
Wavy Wand
Hula Post

Adventure play for young thrill seekers

Sky Tower and Elevated Skywalk
Flying fox
Cosy Dome

We had a ball discovering the water features and playgrounds located in this new estate. With beautiful large grassy areas you can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the sunny blue skies, or pack some snags and make use of the free BBQ’s provided in the under cover shelters.

If you prefer to purchase lunch there is a lovely fully licenced Cafe located on the ground with a deck overlooking the park.

If you are looking for a quieter location to enjoy water features for kids, this place is worth seeking out. Its great for families who prefer their children to engage in water activities without the risks associated with pools – Highly Recommended.
